Summer 1 The Tudors

Re-enacting The Battle of Bosworth Field

The end of the war of the Roses saw Henry VI (Henry Tudor) become king and unite England. He created the Tudor rose which was the red rose of Lancashire and the white rose of Yorkshire combined. Richard III was defeated.

Henry VIII and his 6 wives

We discovered lots about Henry VIII and his wives, then we discussed which wife we thought suited Henry the best and why. There were a few different ideas across the class.
