Figurative language

We read some different poems to see how language impacted on how we read them, and then we performed them to each other.

Outside, we used our sense to get some inspiration to write our own similes, metaphors and personification.

Every pupil wrote a fantastic poem using their own similes, metaphors and personification. They spent time writing up their poems in their showcase books.

Greek myths

Mythical creatures features in most Greek myths, we created our own, writing a description of what they looked like and their special abilities.

Acting out the myth of Baucis and Philemon.
