Stories with a historical setting

Narnia morning 

Year 5 were fully immersed in Narnia, exploring the historical setting, the characters and the plot of The lion, the witch and the wardrobe.

Magic mirror

Using a magic mirror to look back on scenes from The lion, the witch and the wardrobe, everyone became Lucy and told each other their memory of the event. 

Imagery in Narnia

Working in groups, the children acted out the different parts of the Easter story and Narnia to see how the imagery of Jesus’ sacrifice was used by C.S.Lewis. They performed their parts to each other, and were a wonderful audience for each other too.
