Summer 2- moving vehicles

Spring 1- Dips and Dippers

Finally, we shared our dips and dippers with Year 5 and they filled out a questionnaire to celebrate and help us improve our dips and dippers. We discussed with our partners and evaluated this together. 

We ensured to follow good hygiene by washing our hands, rolling up our sleeves, tying back our hair and wearing an apron. We then used cutting, chopping, squeezing and mixing skills to create our dips and dippers before presenting them for our partners in Year 5. 

We tried lots of different dips and dippers, we looked closely to rate them based on their appearance, smell, taste and texture. 

We tried different foods whilst blindfolded enabling us to use our senses to explore food. We guessed the food by feeling, smelling, listening to the sound when we bit into it and tasting before finally talking off our blindfold at the end and seeing it!
