Travel and Transport

This week, we have been comparing the holidays that Victorians would have had versus modern day holidays. We were very surprised to learn that poor Victorians would only go on holiday for one day!

Come fly with me! This week has been all about the Wright brothers. We watched a very funny video on people trying to fly. The Wright brothers must have been very clever to get a plane to fly.

Today, we looked at the first car invented by Benz in 1885. We talked about the safety features on modern cars compared to today. We were very surprised that there were no headlights on the first car!
