History

In our first term as Year 6 we learnt about Slavery. This was a fascinating subject for us and we particularly enjoyed learning about Harriet Tubman, a very brave lady who herself escaped Slavery and went back to help others. We also looked at people who belong to the BME community that have made a difference

Year 6 have been researching the ‘Bayeux Tapestry’. This beautiful piece of art work was made to tell the story of the Battle of Hastings. We were lucky enough to have Mr Coates draw a part of it and we really enjoyed putting our own design to it. We think it looks great!
