A study of Old Skelmersdale

Year 2 were very lucky to have Skelmersdale Heritage Society visit us in school. They shared lots of resources and information about what life was like in Old Town Skelmersdale. They shared with us the types of shops around at the time such as a drapers. They even told us about how Old Skelmersdale was a place where miners lived and children as young as 5 went down the mine!
