What an amazing day - a huge thank you to Ruth and her team from Dig Deep Learning and the Ogden trust for providing an exciting day of Archaeology for some Year 6's within our schools cluster.

The children experienced Geophysics and learned how this helped archaeologists use this to plan their digs, followed by a miniature dig, where they used trowels, sieving and cleaning processes, before identifying materials and possible uses.

The children from several school's worked brilliantly together to identify their finds - sadly nothing precious - and categorise them like real archaeologists.
